Since the start of its scholarship scheme, EHSIMF has supported over 500 competitively selected bright students from socially and economically marginalized regions and groups of people in the country. EHSIMF works closely with  the Federal Ministry of Education and  its regional and zonal bureaus and the public universities for setting selection criteria, facilitating selection and collecting academic records, soliciting supportive documents from beneficiaries’ residential areas and schools, government and private media to disseminate information and announcements of scholarships, hotels that host members meetings, etc

So far until July 2024 over 400 students have graduated and are working in public, private and international organizations, supporting themselves, their families and their country in various fields of studies

Currently, about 4 medical students pursuing their medical internship programs in Debre berhan, Hromaya. Wollo, Woldia Universities in 2024/25 (2016/17) EC academic year alone,

Last July, 2024, 23 scholarship students have graduated in various fields of study, i.e. 5 nurses, 5 Natural Science, 4 mgt, 2 education, 2 Social Science 5 in various disciplines,  from AAU, Jig jiga, Dilla, Haromaya and Ledeg Cpllage,

At present, EHSIMF has 77 students in its Scholarship program attending in 11 Universities, namely, Debre Birhan, Dilla, Haromaya,Summera, Woldia, Wollo,Enjibarra, Assosa,Gambella,Debark,MekdelaAmba,Debretabor,and Dembi-dollo universities.

The 77 university students enrolled into the EHSIMF scholarship program are selected by committees formed by the Presidents of the respective universities as representatives from Deans office, students union, varies other faculties and the President’s office and/ or academic vice president’s office.

The students’ female to male ratio reflects, 35% female and 65% male;
